Vaikeasti lausuttavia lauseita tai sanajoukkoja kutsutaan englanniksi nimellä tongue twister. Lapset rakastavat niitä ja haastavat ystäviään sanomaan näitä sanahirviöitä mahdollisimman nopeasti, monta kertaa peräkkäin. Englannin opiskelijoille nämä sanahirviöleikit ovat hauska tapa harjoitella yhtä tai kahta äännettä kerrallaan, oikean ääntämisen saamiseksi. Aloita lausuminen hitaasti ja kiihdytä sitten tahtia.
