Miten käyttää sanaa "Unless"

Unless tarkoittaa samaa kuin if...not. Kuten if, unless -sanaa seuraa preesens, mennyt aikamuoto tai pluskvamperfekti (ei ikinä konditionaali). Unless käytetään if...not tilalla kaikenlaisissa konditionaalilauseissa. Lausejärjestyksellä ei ole väliä lauseissa, jotka käyttävät sanaa unless.
